In late July, we had the opportunity to take our kids to Dexter, MI to a lakehouse for the day. Frank, one of our volunteers, knew a family who owned the house and loved being able to use it for ministry. We took 8 of our youth out for the day. I loved watching their excitement just being there, it felt like they turned into little kids. Everything was so new and exciting. They enjoyed swimming in the lake, kyaking, minnow catching, speed boat riding, and even some water ski attempts! Needless to say, the ride home was very quiet as most of the kids fell asleep :)
